Finally made a little progress on the twin setup!! Well, I have'nt have much time to get to the car with work and all, but I made a little progress. I finished building the forged motor, Finished my 321 stainless double slip 4 into 1 merge collectors, and welded in the motor mounts today. Now I just have to drop the motor in, Finish fabbing the headers, and start bolting all the parts on!!

Hopefully I will have time to finish it by July 4th!! I built did a 347" setup, 8:1 compression. From my last setup I have a t400 with a brake. I tightened the stall from 5000 to 4000 rpm, and I swapped the 12 bolt gears from 4.11 to 3.42 for the top end charges at 150+ mph with my 26" tall 315/35/17 drag radials.
The motor went in pretty easy, I just had to notch the pan and fab the mounts. I also lowered the motor and slid it back about an inch.
The merge collectors are just like the burns, I cant see spending $1000 when they are easily built for less then $200 in materials. Plus I desined them a little shorter for space limitations.
In the next week or so I will have some pics of the motor with the headers and turbos on.
This entire project was really cheap actually. I did a lot of wheeling and dealing for parts, and I get discounts. All I have left to buy when the time comes is the cold side plumbing, Flashscan, and an LC-1 wideband. Then it's dyno time.
I can't wait to have it done, I want to start enjoying the summer with my family and not be couped up in the garage!!

For the valvecovers, I removed the coil mounts, filled the 2 grooves down the center, welded the holes that were for the vents and coil mounts, and painted them gloss black.
