Finally made a little progress on the twin setup!!
Hopefully I will have time to finish it by July 4th!! The motor went in pretty easy, I just had to notch the pan and fab the mounts. I also lowered the motor and slid it back about an inch.
The merge collectors are just like the burns, I cant see spending $1000 when they are easily built for less then $200 in materials. Plus I desined them a little shorter for space limitations.
In the next week or so I will have some pics of the motor with the headers and turbos on.
This entire project was really cheap actually. I did a lot of wheeling and dealing for parts, and I get discounts. All I have left to buy when the time comes is the cold side plumbing, Flashscan, and an LC-1 wideband. Then it's dyno time.
I can't wait to have it done, I want to start enjoying the summer with my family and not be couped up in the garage!!
