the sts and phamspeed kits are really very different in both design and what parts they use.....turbo in front vs rear....stock manifolds vs headers.....fmic vs none...gravity oil lines vs pump....its all in what you want.i personally chose the phamspeed for its simple design and get wary with the turbo in the back of the car,you may not care.search both Phamspeed and STS and read up...looks like you got alot of reading to do b4 you go boosted.go to Barnes and Noble and buy and read "Boosted" it discusses all aspects of a turbo kit and explains everything

Vortech supercharger will bolt in very nicely and give your 400 rear wheel goal very easily.

Either way you go you'll have to beef up your clutch to hold the power.

5-7psi on a stock block/car won't get you 400 up here...360-380 rwhp at the most on an other wise stock car. Altitude being the killer. Our LS1's dyno about 260rwhp up here

I feel bad hijacking, but this question can be probably be answered very easily by some of you posting on this thread: How adequate are the LS1's stock spark plugs and wires for a t70 turbo tuned at about 6-7 psi? I'm in the finishing stages of buying odd parts and loose ends and such. Thanks for any input guys. I just totally forgot about the damned plugs... should've asked sooner.

As far as the weather, I haven't been able to drive my car for about three weeks now because of the rain stats every freakin' day here...

One comment: for somewhere around 420-460 rwhp, is a boost-friendly cam and heads really necessary? I've heard some guys with pretty reliable ATI set-ups that have stock heads/cam and are good for like near-500 rwhp...

they blow!stock plugs are great for stock motors,as they're platinum i believe and retain too much heat.go to your local DAP or AZ and get some TR6's

and the stock cam will work find,you can just make more with a bigger cam thats all

I'm runnig 5lbs on stock motor. I'm having LT's and catted y installed and tuned. I'm told I will be around 420 rwhp and 400 rwtq. I should have it done by the end of the summer. I'll post new numbers when done.
