everyone inside! turbo chat ok my friend has a 2005 YZF R6, well he wants a turbo kit for his bike, i know this is not the place for bike chat but i really need to know, i cant find nething online. plz help. thanks skeeter. btw i just bought a 2005 GSXR1000

from what I know ( not much ) he'll have to do a custom job , I dont think they have a turbo out for that new of a bike ... I know a guy with a gixxer 600 who ran 4psi , it lasted 3 weeks and boom.
yeah he'll probably have to get a set of slugs made as i think the stock 05 r6 comes with something around 13.5:1 SCR. If done properly i dont see why a little t25 or something of that nature couldnt get the job done. He will have to tear the motor apart and spend quite a bit of $$$ to make it work though. If he has fab skills then he should be able to make it work quite nicely.

They don't list anything for his bike. Neither does Mrturbo. I would think the major hurdle in a custom kit would be the computer tuning. I've been wanting to turbo my CBR1100XX, but I don't like piggyback tuning solutions, and that is all I have found available.

ive seen them do some crazy turbo projects watercrafts etc..I'll second that. When I had my S20G Turbo Talon I went to Hahn for all my parts. They have several record holding turbo vehicles including some bikes.
