Default Pics of my new 6.0L Heads

Thought id post these here since they are dealing with FI in a way.......

Well i got some pics of my reworked heads....
They WERE Patriot 6.0L Stage II Heads.
When they were taken off the car my pistons were black.... oil......
so the valve seals were checked and 4 were bad.....
To make things worse 6 valve seats were bad and the valves were NEVER fully seated so the whole time i could of been making more HP if they were seating.
So the heads were taken to Livernois and they cleaned the heads and replaced the seats, seals, and did a new valve job.

Now for the flow sheet..... im really happy because Livernois was able to pick up almost 70cfm at .300 lift and mid range lift is were the power is made.....

I was told that the heads will flow better on my car since i have a 4.03" Bore and the heads were flowed on a 3.875" bore.
Im not worried about peak flow numbers..... Im happy with down low....

The new setup will still be a single turbo setup..... We decided on a GT42 with a 76mm wheel.... and a 4" downpipe. A couple of other lil things also......
Now with the whole APE thing....... the only thing done to the Car was a BMR K-Member and the tranny sitting in the car and missing my Mastercylinder and no clutch........
No i was missing those things and my starter and coilpacks, and brackets and wiring harness, and my driveshaft and my DSSL and my TQ Arm....... so i lost $$$ there....... even though i got most of my $$ back....
Ill have some more pics and info to post up as i recieve them.

That original intake flow at .300 is 193, not 143, but it's still an awesome pickup!

I saw your car when I was picking some stuff up and noticed the Texas plate. Sounds like you have a nice setup planned and you will be more than impressed w/ the quality of work done by those guys! I know I was!

Im with ya.... i wasnt sure how much they picked up..... his 4's and 9's look so close..... its still awsome by just doing a valve job..... and now i know i have good seats and seals and dont have to worry about losing a motor because of Patriots crappy seals and seats.......

Were your heads direct from patriot? Just curious. Have the identical heads on my 408. Kind of worries me.

lol, seeing the name "Stenod" under the customer name on the flow sheet kinda gives it away too. Saw your car over there last week, you're in good hands.

I have not been up to the shop this week but with the progress they have been making it should be good. I need to take more pics but all the welding is done and the new KTS 9in is getting welded up and hopefully fitted by the end of the week.

I hope to be painting by the end of next week!

btw: any more updated pics of your stuff? Will it be done in time for N vs. S?

Thanks!
