I decided on something close to 9:1
Thanks guys

I guess I also need to change out my injectors. Don't think my 42 SVO can keep up. Would 50's be enough?

depends on your setup.....they say if you have low resistance intake setup and cam flow alot of cfms IN then have more duration that way.....if you can scavenge exhaust gas well with low backpressure go that way....and if they're the same or you dont know go with same.

Hmmm.... maybe I should just keep my TR224.

Btw, he is going to order our pistons tomorrow. Wish I could get hellfire rings.

Ed,
I should have either a set of 55# injectors from RC Engineering or 60# Mototron/SiemenDeka for sale next week...

Send me a line if you're interested... they will have dyno time only on them.

Are they easy to tune? How was the idle and part throttle?

go with standard split NOT a reverse split with the blower.

Personally I think you should have the compressor flow the air (pulley it to near max impeller speed) and set the comp according to your octane requirements.

Look at what Kevin is doing. He is running what 8:1 compression, runs pump gas and makes something like 675RWHP through a STOCK MUFFLER!

You will NOT notice the lower compression with the right pulley setup. You'll be into boost almost right away.

Where you are in cali I would be concerned about the cam choice. 224/224 on 115LSA should easily pass in the stroker and make decent power. Even a 224/228 on 115LSA should pass and make even more power

Good luck,

I am getting the smallest pulley that comes with the SDCE. So I will be spining the blower to 55k @ 6200. I can't go too low on the CR. Gotta pass smog.

My 224/224 114 passed with no problem through stock manifolds. Just thought I should go with a bit more duration on the exhaust.

My first thought ws something like 224/227 .563/.569 114. But like you said, go with a 115 and maybe some more lift. Just want to make sure I can pass the sniffer.

Both have very good manors and are pretty easy to tune.

That doesn't sound too bad of a cam on a 115. I like the lift.

Lower comp wont hurt you at all for emissions with the right tune
