Now that Harlan has closed shop, who makes a decent 2-step? MSD?

MSD makes a digital 2-step and window switch. No more searching for an old Mallory.

Its pretty suprising that no one has actually stepped up to the plate after all this time.

How does it feel to have a monopoly?

redrumss, did you prepay for yours or did Harlan just contact you for payment once it was built? I assume he must be sending each one out in order as he finishes them.

Cool...thanks! I think I was probably a little later on the list, but he did e-mail me and tell me I was on it, so I'll continue to wait patiently It's good to hear that folks on the list are beginning to get them.

I kinda don't get it why Harlen stopped making them. I have one and it works great. It's a great product, he has no competition, and he has to be making some great money on the side from the 2 step and everything else he was making. I don't get it, wish I had that side money

You gotta remember, he has a job that requires some travel time...so he is away from home. Even worse then that he has a race car, which eats up gobs of time. Plus, who wants to lose all of their free time to making things like this?

Basically what it comes down to is that he needs a partner to offset the load and increase production.

TIME, it all comes down to time.

And yes, i'm making them when i can. Contacting people as I have them ready. It's taking me awhile because i don't have the time to devote to them with the current hand assembly proceedures.
