whipple twin screw?? ok, I have been looking at the whipple superchargers and I was wondering if they can be mounted backwards, similar to the magnachargers? It seems to me that if someone made a matching intake, that they can be ran backwards and use a shaft like the magnachargers to turn the screw in the back. This way your air induction could remain in the stock location and it would require less cutting of the cowl. Does anyone see a problem with this idea? I have thought about this a long while, and i dont see any way that it would not work, but then again I know nothing about superchargers.

why not try to modify a magnacharger intercooled intake and drive shaft to spin a whipple 2.3 or even a kb 2.4? The magnacharger just isnt efficient enough. A cobra can make near 700 rwhp with a supercharger swap on their stock 4.6 ltr engine. A magnacharger will only make over 500 on our 346ci motor if it is forged and has heads and cam. It will never even come close to a streetable 700hp on a basically stock engine.
