Just fine, with the right tune, and as long as you don't put a crap load of octane to it.

we have a phamspeed kit to use, also slowhawk always like to modify others kits to make them even better. Once we start on it we will keep it updated for you guys. The 408 is in the car an running nicely. Rips NA even with compression in the 8's. Waiting on a catback for friday then we break it in NA and we will tune it and give some dyno numbers as well, then on with the turbo

Good deal. Reason I ask is I'm thinking about all this now. I have a pending purchase which is still working itself out and obviously planning for the future which includes the turbo route. (Kinda have an idea of a way to get setup suspension/chassis/break wise by the end of the year and some other supporting mods). I think the ultimate end will be 408 with an 88 but ground clearance is of major concern (back roads in maryland aren't always the best, same for Delaware and Pennsylvania's state/US roads, well, my family that lives there calls them PenDONT), add in the fact that I might custom fab this to keep AC, build in a Downpipe above the K-member I'm searching for ideas to make the most with the least so to speak. I'll look forward to more progress, good luck.
