I would like to know how a low compression motor will run N/A without the turbo because I was thinking about selling my supercharger and run the car N/A on low compression till I get money for the turbo kit I want. If you could get some numbers and tell me how it feels when your breaking it in that would be cool.

I can give you some info already since Slowhawk did it with a 402 ls2 that was 9:1 I believe, he made like 430hp and 420 tq(from 2500 on I believe)

Breaking it in will just be stop and go traffic for 500-1000 miles and not revving it past 4k

But I will let you know how I make out when i get some numbers

i build a 0.040 over 6.0 block for a blower setup a year or so ago that ended up being about 9.1:1 and it made over 500 at the wheels na...i loved it. i never even put the blower on it, i ended up selling that motor to a friend that's running a t88 on it now.

What numbers you're shooting for and what boost you gonna run it.

800rwhp on the street and pump gas...may go for 1000 on pump as well. Gotta see how the pcm handles everything first. Already been over 700 with the last setup. Might have to get big stuff 3. For now we just want to get it together and see how she is at 800ish...Slowhawk has his final vision..I just let the man do his thing

i know my 346 without the boost sucked.
had a 224/224-114 cam in it and it would only trap about 103-104 and run mid 13's, so about as good as stock, with the cam adn some 6.0 heads
a 400+ might be a different story though

my 346 with 9:1 still put down 428hp and 386tq...it ran great NA, its all in the setup I guess. Im pretty sure my 408 will be low on power and fall on its face NA but its built for lots of boost anyhow

Intake is the stock LS6.
Injector's will be the existing 60's,then probly 75's.
The Cam is extremely small for this. The turbo will easilly double and possibly triple the NA hp output

With our 395 car. We swapped on AFR 225s and lowered the CR to around 9.3:1. He dyno'd in at 475rwhp/434rwtq through a t56, Moser 12-bolt, 33 spline axles and 4.56 power robbing gears. When it comes turbo time we'll have to swap those gears but for now they are fun to run around on.
