Thing still doesnt budge! I mine was sticky the first time i actuated it by hand. Im not sure what spring came installed in it. I took mine apart to do a little porting and smoothing of the internal casting, there is not much to the mechanism that could go wrong unless you have a bushing or alinment problem. If the plunger isnt centered when its assembled it will move to the side a bit to center itself in the inlet, that can make it stick. Hard to explain but you would understand if you took it apart.

Ok here is what i did. Take you compressor at home or work aad set it to 10 psi. Then using a air nozzle put compressed air into the bottom fitting. It really is amazing how it works. In feels unmovable by hand but flys up when 10 psi is added to the mix with compressed air. GL man
