nope,i WAS going to use the 1 in my car already...LPE GT2-3 but ive decided to just build this motor totally and sell my whole longblock in my car now.so im thinking about the sleeper2 cam from MTI,i like it and it sounds great and would sound even more quiet since itll be in a 383 and not a 346...ie same cam in bigger motor acts smaller.

because i have a phamspeed kit and am using the stock headers from an 02 car so i dont have as much of a free flowing exhaust setup as possible, but my intake is great,my FMIC has a .2 psi pressure drop at 15#s.also the more intake will help me have less reversion.

YUP!so i figure with a better intake setup than an exhaust im better off with either no split or a reverse split...SO i cant decide between the 2 sleeper cams..im leaning towards the sleeper2 cam cause of the tad higher LSA and itll help stop any reversion.

Ok, I have a question about this myself. The car that I've been working on, the way the deal is structured I'm waiting on the seller to sell his 408 (geared for NA / N2O) as it wasn't what I wanted and he had had a side deal to sell it. At any rate. I've found a short block that I'm considering and would be toping it off with most likely a thin or stock gasket and a set of LQ4/9 heads for now. It's a 382, 4" stroke, and it would most likely breath through a set of stock manifolds till next year. At that point it's going turbo with either a set of 1 5/8 primaries or 1 3/4s. So, he's the question. I'm not worried about maximizing the 382 NA, as long as it has some decent power (slightly more than stock) but would be best geared for a change of head gasket, some port work, and be setup to go at this forced induction thing end of next year beginning of 07. Basically I'm in the same boat as Ed, and was curious what bump stick would probably work best, with basically the same requirements that he has, slight lope, emmissions acceptable, streetable, doesn't kill idle or fuelmileage THAT bad (obviously gonna give up some). Definately wanna keep the LSA >=114

look at the boosted lists that are stickies and see what some of them use as a cam with their s/c er.what most people are listing will work ok,or give a few companies like Futral Comp and Forced Inductions a call to help you decide.
