Any information on sequential turbos?

Has anyone tried sequential turbos on an ls1? Would it be worth it? The smaller turbo would spool at a lot lower speed and then the larger would take over in theory right? Any other ways to overcome the initial turbo lag? Anyone with ideas, and suggestions... thanks!

No need for a complex system. A properly sized unit will spool just as fast.

tubing for something like that would be a pain...and the whole idea in general is a waste, go twins!!

I've heard of the "sequential" turbo setup on F-Bodies working with some success, however, I agree with the earlier posters that a properly sized twin shouldn't have spool issues.
