he might make less power to the wheels, but he will definatly be transfering more of that to the pavement.
id think he should be in the 8's now

He didn't say when he will make it back to the track. But I expect it to do pretty good. Yes is the car that went 9.8@156.XX with the 6spd. Nothing but the tranny was changed, so with a transbrake and no wheelie bar......I think it will be the best ride in the park...lol

His torque didn't drop really all that much, that car is going to be flying down the track now!

Glides came in daily drivers not too many years ago. I don't think that motor will have a problem making enough to torque to get the car moving and I'm sure it would go quicker at the track w/ the glide (also would put more power to the ground). I am running a th400 for now too only because I can't afford to get the big bad glide quite yet.

Just one more? was this on a lock or unlocked converter. I know some th400's have the lockup switch. If it was unlocked then those are great numbers if it was locked thats a bit more loss than I would expect.
