Procharger I have been looking at the ds1 kit from procharger i was woundering how hard it would be to tune it. My car has around 93,000 on it how would it work on the engine i dont really want to do anything to hurt it. Is it just like a bolt on and go or what? Really would like some oppinions on what to do.

If you put the super on ya car adn do only 6 psi you could basically bolt it on and go. It would definatly benifit from a tune even at 6 psi. Unless you have a bud that has ls1 edit or hp runers or something like that then you cant even tune the car without going to a speed shop that does have it. 6 psi should make liek 425 horse with a supercharger. If you plan on goin higher then that then you need to do a fuel pump and injectors. Most people say that 500 hp on a totally stock motor, save for valve springs and pushrods, is about the limit. There is ways to push it farther BUT they start to get expensive. Hope this helps ya man.

As stated above be a little careful on your tune, and as long as you are careful and don't floor it everywhere you go you should be able to live happily with your new found power. I would consider beefing up your pistons etc. if you plan on going to the track or raising the boost level.
