adding ATI or Vortech to my N/A setup...thoughts!
adding ATI or Vortech to my N/A setup...thoughts! sup fella's, i've been pretty serious about adding a supercharger to my current setup and want some of you FI guys to help me evaluate my goals if you dont mind...now im new to the FI world, so im not quite sure what all i need as far as Fuel upgrades, and parts good for a blower application, so im tring to get my basics down...i'd like to keep my heads/cam, but if it just isnt practical then i have no problem changing...my goals are mid/high 5xx's rwhp and rwtq...high 10's on drag radials...
currently i have: 2000 M6 SS
-stock fuel
-stock injectors
-stock MAF
-stock TB
-stock Intake
-TEA 5.3 heads
TEA Flow #'s
lift intake exhaust
.100 70.9 53.8
.200 142.5 119.2
.300 203.8 164.6
.400 250.1 221.2
.500 290.7 245.7
.550 304.6 252.1
.600 315.9 255.3
-F14 on a 112+2 (232*234* .598* .598*)
-everything recommended for cam upgrade, T-chain, LS6 oil pump ect.
-stock bottom end
-QTP 1 3/4 LT's | ORY | GMMG
now, im getting a 90/90 combo soon, new rearend, and driveshaft, as well as new suspension upgrades....as far as my N/A setup goes, do you recommend me get new heads? 6.0's? or will my heads now be fine? and the cam, is it too big, or will i be pushing the lines of good taste with it? i need someone to educate me on some things, so i know...i've done searches but i'd like to get a run down of my current setup to know if i can just add a blower and go...

Get a D1SC and push 13 psi and you will reach your goals. Make sure you lower you cr and change fuel system and all will be good. Dont forget to get that bad boy tuned by someone that knows what they are doing. I personally like the ATI set up better than the Vortec > but it all comes down to $$$$.
