Default Kit Complete Oil problems

Just finished the install of the turbo kit.....runs well but i am having some problems with the oil...the hose fittings that go from the drain side of the trubo to the pump leaks a little bit...but the worst part is i am getting oil in the compressor side and its sucking it in through the engine...when my bov lets off my engine bay is covered with oil..what could be causing this?? i have 3/16" steel braided hose running from a tap ontop of the oil filter to the oil inlet on the turbo...i was told that i am flooding the inside of the turbo and need to put a restrictor on that line...is that what you guys think??? what size restrictor would i need and where could i get one?? its a MP t70 and its rearmounted on my ws6..

First you need to run a check valve on both the feed and drain lines if your using a pump, if not it will feed/drain to much oil into the center section and the oil will work its way through into the turbine and compressor housings. We get this problem quite a bit from alot of our customers that run either rear mount systems or system that mount the turbo under the level of the pan. You can get the check valves from different locations. The popular choice is part # 7775k52, which you can get at http://www.mcmaster.com/. If your drain line is smaller or larger they have other sizes. You will also need the 3/16 check valve for your feed line. Also you may want to try a .035 restrictor if you keep having problems after the check valves. Typically that fixes the oild drain/feed issues. As for you blowing oil everywhere under boost, that means you also need a check valve going to the valvecovers from the TB vacuum line. Your pressurizing the engine and pushing the oil out of it, simple fix.

ddnspider, if the turbos are below the oil level then yes. Oil will keep running down into the center section and literally drowning the turbo.

if you put a checkvalve on the feed side of the turbo, that would stop the oil from getting to it....if you turn it around the oil would get to it, it just wouldnt get back up to the pan...i dont see how that would help anything..... .035 is the size of wire i use to weld with... are you sure there would be enough oil getting to my turbo so that it wont burn up??
