Default Adding a P-1SC

Like the title says, I just bought one so I'm looking for stuff that works. I plan to pull the motor & add forged pistons (9 or 9.5s), get a custom grind cam, that kind of stuff. It came with 42lb inj, a pump, 5 pullies, and an LM1. So I should have a good start.

But I'm wondering what cam profiles you guys find works best? I know my Hot Cam has to go. And what size slicks are you running to hook it up at the track? My 8" QTPs work fine now @ 490hp (eng), but this is probably going to add 125hp+ more, wo I'm wondering if I can get big enough meats on my 8" rims? (10" wide tread max - 28x11.5x16?) And I plan to swap out my 4.11s for 3.40s too.

So, if anyone has any pointers for me, I'd appreciate it. I'm going to wait & build this up over the winter, but I want to start collecting parts a little at a time....thanks!

PUREVL ran a 230/236 on a 114 I believe from CMotorsports on his old D1 setup and made 630HP at 10lbs. That seemed to work pretty good!

I just picked up a set of 6.0L heads, and forged pistons will go in too, so the PtoV issue WILL be checked out. I was thinking something in the area of 230/236, and I've heard good things about the FM7.

So how high do you guys spin your S/C'd motors? My shift points are 6700 now. I guess if I buy new rods too then I don't care where I end up. It's only money, right? Thanks guys.
