dynedta , I see you got rid of your TTI set up and went with a phamspeed whats the reason for that ? Is the phamspeed set up that much better than the TTI ? I just hope I am going with the right kit for me.

I had the tti street kit, so with that kit my goals of 700whp did not seem possible due to the log manifold design, and if I were able to push the tti kit to 700 then my backpressure numbers would be through the roof. I chose the phamspeed kit just because of the design of the kit its basically like most of the big dog kits (i.e. ohio boys etc.) with some small changes and the kit has room to grow. IMHO

Why not the PTK kit better design than the phamspeed for a street kit.

I looked into both kits and for the money both PTK and phamspeed kits are very good, but is came down to phamspeed costing less with the same possible power numbers. The only real problem I see with the pham kit is the ground clearance but that can be fixed with some modification. its really a toss up between the kits if you ask me. again JMHO.

I'm at $8,200.00 and I have not even been able to have anything installed yet, so the figure has yet to go up.

You can spend up to 25000 on a installed single turbo kit with forged motor. Then ya break your tranny, rearend, and suspension components. I have been dreaming of a turbo kit for years. Its big bucks.

Ahhhhh...no i could give you a total price breakdown of the motor and turbo kit and heads and fuel and blablabla and im still at about $10k.And this IS doing it right.if you take your time, dont rush yourself and jump in,have companies willing to work with you then you can get out the door for less than $15k and certainly less than $20k....geez,if i get a rearend AND suspension im still at about $15k...and that doesnt include me selling the motor in my car, which ill see about $2k for the longblock.

no dont think so,you can just put it in groups....like fuel(injectors, lines, pump(s),etc) motor(shortblock, assembled heads, pushrods, lifters, cam, etc)like that, not that big of a deal.

For BIG HP you ARE going to be over $20K. I know.... If you do it right you will have over $1500 alone in the fuel system.
Lets add it up......

$4600 in my short block
$1800 in my heads
$230 head studs.
Tubular K-Member and A-Arms $900
MY fuel system $2640
Rearend $2200 and thats on the low side
Tranny/clutch/drive shaft $3200
wheels and tires.... using welds so less $$ $1100
Suspension $2000
Then your turbo kit...... I know how much mine was for a custom kit.... i can tell you it was over $6500.....
Grand total $23,170 and im sure im forgeting somethings...........

I dont know what alot of your goals are but mine might be a lil higher then some... but im getting tired of doing things half assed so this time im doing it right.
