Default Want to spray ontop of the charger.....

Yup, I have come to the conclusions this is what I want to do.

What do u guys reccomend? I am running 12lbs now (d-1sc) fully built 6L. I am making 687 rwhp and 584 tq. i want more torque, so how much could I spray???

How do you make nearly 700 hp on 12 psi? I imagine you lowered your compression ratio when you forged the 6.0 so that would make it even harder to get 700 out of 12 psi? Are you using alky or anyhting? What is you timing set at? As far as your ? goes i havent a clue. lol sorry

great numbers, you can run as little as a 50 shot to cool the charge and pick up prob 75 at the rear wheels easy. You have forged internals so you could probably spray up to 150 but, you should higher octane for good measure. depends if you want to stay on pump gas or not. you can always run a wet kit for good measure.

So u think a 100 shot would be a good size? I am spraying just to get some more torque. And I would run 100 octane if I were to spray.

a 100 would be plenty you'll feel that. just make sure you're fuel system is up to snuff.

The fuel system should be able to handle it. It's a Areomotive A1000 pump, SB lins.fuel rails 70lb inj. and areomotive controller.
They say it should handle up to 1500 hp.

I hear that nitrous HP will double on an FI car Vs a NA car, in other word if a system made 50Hp on a NA car it will make 100Hp on an FI car, It makes sense when you think about it. It looks like most are running a small 50 or less shot with a slight ritch tune and lowered comp. I have also been thinking about doing this although I have some modifications to make before I will be able to.

Because I built it.

We are going to be trying for even more with one more pulley change. Should be well over 700 easy.



Felix, I would say spray no more than 100 shot wet, and you will gain alot. I just did a SC viper the other day with a 100 shot and he gained about 150 TQ. Nice improvment

The 1st gen I believe was a bigblock (not sure CI) and if I am not mistaking had a 100shot. From what I over heard him and my boy talking.
and I need to get a better night shot camera. it's about 3 yr old.

I know, that's why I was looking into spraying. I just want some more torque.

Sorry if this has been answered already, but what octane fuel were you running on the 687/584 dyno? Great HP #'s! I think I'm right around 625/675 @ 12psi, on 91 octane, 8.7:1 CR. I'm a turbo, but was also considering maybe a bit o spray at some point.

It was 91 octane and running only about 20* on the top end for timing. I could get away with more, but we were running out of injector and dint want to push it too much more until the new injectors go in.
