Default do i need to get wideband AND EGT gauges?

I'm looking to get a STS kit here pretty soon. I definately want to get a wideband O2 gauge (AEM). Do i need to get a pyrometer too? doesn't the EGT just tell you whether you're running rich or lean based on EGT? which is the same as an O2 based wideband right? Sorry just a little confused, trying to cut down the number of gauges to boost, fuel psi, and wideband. Thanks!

I would just get a nice wideband setup and a fuel pressure gauge. I think they are a must to make sure everything is going good.

Well most places tune using a/f ratio and the knock sensor. Some people also like to be able to look at the EGT's as they can get high when you start really push it. GL man

I would get the pyrometer also. I melted my Dodge motor going on just A/F. You can have issues with high EGT's and still be running good A/F. My 2 cents.
