Default max boost w/fmic on stock block

okay, i'm getting an STS kit. I'm torn on spending the extra $1300 for an FMIC. I plan on running 5-6psi w/o an intercooler but with racetronix pump & 42# inj. What's the max boost I can run with a FMIC w/proper tune on a stock motor and still be relatively safe. I'm thinking if the FMIC only gets me to 7-8 psi I'll just settle for 5-6 without it. Oh this is for my daily driver

On a stock motor with a intercooler i would say 8psi would be the max i would run. me personally i wouldnt run anything over 6psi without a intercooler...i used to have a STS kit that was non intercooled.
