Have you thought about calling Cam Motion and having them spec one for you?

This is what I will more than likely end up doing.
I think for my goals the cam isn't going to be persect and for 400 bucks might as well get something right on the money.

i think you oughta find something small....around 212 to 220 range to keep some bottom end and help spool. Get a 3200 stall and be done. I sold my Camotion spec'd cam and ran faster with a smaller one. Mightymouse made damn near 800rwhp on a stock cam!!

Maybe my theory is off and I will see once complete, however I feel that a larger stall would work better.
I am gonna try a 3800 Yank out and see how it works.
The reason is because I feel it will spool the turbo faster and get more RPM's quicker.
I dont mind shifting at 6500 RPM's even on a stock motor as I am more risky then most.
I have ran a mininum of a 150 shot through around 80 boddles on a stock shortblock and always shifted high.
I ran many 10sec passes running Nitrous and have given some thought as to staying with the Nitrous but really like The everyday power a Turbo gives.

I am gonna call cam motion and see what they spec, but I am defentially staying with a bigger converter and gonna test my theory.

Our setups are different but I am taking my 3800 out and going BACK to the 3200 I had before....just like i took out the 3.73 gears i had and went BACK to 3.23s. Turbos like LOAD....I hope you will be happy with your setup and not waste money like I did.

The cam i was talking about that i got shouldnt be very hard to get to idle nice with a 115lsa. This is also through a turbo car so the turbo will help it sound a little more tame.

Explain a little more if possible.
I am going on a theroy with the verter. This is something I have thought out myself and therefore there is plenty of room to be wrong.
I agree with the gear and I went with a 3.42 to be in the middle.
I have like 7 converters at my house and the 3800 seems like the closest for this project and that is why I picked it. Costs nothing.

most of the turbo buick guys seem to find it best to get a stall that matches where you reach full boost.....i like your choice of gear....especially with 28" tires

Well in a rear mount with a large turbo maybe the 3800 will be fairly accurate.
With a Front mount Turbo then the 3200 seems like a more accurate choice.
Your running 10.12@137 and weighing 3820 so you doing something right.
