Alternative to Intercooling

Alternative to Intercooling This is a just curious question. Who has developed an alternative to traditional intercooling? You have to assume that over the years everything has been tried no matter how far out there it may be. Its just that some type of freon cooled tube or something would make sense and be much more compact. I mean.... what the hell do they use in space???? (now that's out there). A fan (air flow) would not do a lot of good. Curious about anything that does not require a large radiator type unit.
I havent picked one up yet but I am becoming a big fan of h2o/meth, how much easier, efficient and compact can you get? not only does it cool it adds octane depending on the mix. I know alot of people dont want another tank to fill but its only on when your in the boost and you can set your own on point with the boost activated switch (Snow)
