Armageddon, obviously you are being choked some. I attached Purevil's dyno from his 10-11psi run with a 70mm sts setup on 346 lsx setup. You can see your curves and his are almost identical with the same size turbo and you have more cubes. You made more torque because of more psi, but your front mount only made peak boost ~250rpm sooner...seems like all the haters of rear mounts need to recognize that rearmounts arent that far off. This isnt a knock at you, I just figured I should toss his graph in here since yours is posted. Obviously you still have potential for higher numbers, grab yourself a T76 and and redyno!

Wow nice dyno numbers but the track times kinda suck...no offense.

We went 10.9 @ 125 (100mph in the 1/8th) with 450rwhp...full weight street car.

Why does 600+ rwhp only go 95?

cuz I can't drive, haha

has nothing to do with the car, I'll get some better numbers...
This was my first time to the track with anywhere near that amount of power.

The clutch was welded to the flywheel, I broke it loose this afternoon and the car drives fine... I've got a SPEC 5 ordered just incase.

sweet numbers. Driving is half the battle...I couldnt really picture myself doing all that well with 600+hp either Thats a lot of power to control. I'm sure once you get some seat time, we'll be hearing about better times.

your trap still should be higher, not saying the time it self just the trap, unless you take a sip of coffee between each shift that is the only way i see why you would trap 95mph 1/8 with well over 600rwhp

With 624rwhp and a stick car I'd shoot for 135mph as a goal.

I went 11.0@123mph @ 3600 r/weight and 470rwhp N/A. I was over 98 in the 1/8th.

I'd rather hit a 1/4 track cuz you might be pedaling it to the 1/8th.

When Danimal95 from Speed Inc. ran his old YSi/T5/Stang setup, he pedaled it to 1/2 track and went 10.x@144mph. I'm not sure his 1/8th would have reflected his top end.

dude i don't know if i just had a bad clutch but my Mcleod only lasted about 7k. I now have a RAM stage 4 with 10k on it and it still works perfect. Gomer saw the Mcleod clutch when it came out and it was toasted. Good luck on whatever you choose.

I'm no turbo expert, but why would you use a rear mount turbo for a front mount application? STS's whole claim for the feasibility of their systems is that the A:R is different from that of a traditional front mount. What am I missing here? I wish I would have stuck around the dyno to see your runs, but I had to mosey down the road and support the F-Body club car show. Congrats nonetheless

It was a money issue. I used to own an STS kit, I borrowed the turbo and wastegate from it. If anybody needs the 70trim STS turbo let me know, because I'm def looking for a change.
