it will be worth the upgrade for myself IMHO for my build....i cant see it hurting you either...if you went from a lil T70 couldnt you gain 100hp by going to something like the GTS...and alot more torque?

You have one other choice...... the GT-42 i have........ GT42-76
Its a 76MM turbo...... From what Prescion is saying it will go farther then the T-76GTS..... at least it will with the T-6 flange and a 76mm wheel......
Jer, Im not sure what one you have buddy since the 70mm and the 74mm version can both be had with the same size wheel on the exhaust. Do you have a part number on it??? If ya do you can always call Prescion and ask..... if you havent looked and asked already....
Right buddy

standard 42's have a comp wheel with either 94mm or 102mm EXDUCER diameter.
trim = Inducer^2/Exducer^2
EX, you have the 102mm (ie big 42 wheel). It's a 53 trim, use the trim as a %/100. so 53 trim = 0.53
0.53 = In^2/(102)^2
That give Inducer = sqrt(.53*102^2) ~= 74mm
If memory serves, the 94mm wheel is a 55 trim. That's about a 70mm inducer.
The GT42-76 is a standard 42 housing that Precision remachines for a 76mm inducer wheel. Not sure on the exducer size and trim, but I bet I can measure Kyle's and find out

No other info was included in the email to is size or power producing capabilities.
Matt, so did all that mean I have a 74mm? Sorry I got a lil confused reading that last part when you mentioned 74mm and 70mm a sentence afterward....I'll get this turbo lingo soon
I just hope it pushes 650 pretty easily, what are the chances of that happening with this turbo PLEASE CHIME IN

OK...here are the differences.
GT42-94 = 70mm with S-trim wheel
GT42-102 = 74mm with S-trim wheel
GT42-76 = 76mm with S-trim wheel
T76GTS= 76mm with S-trim wheel
So, what is the difference, the 76GTS is nothing more then the GT42 exhaust wheel and a 76mm wheel from PTE's parts bin. They slap different compressor and exhaust housings on it for better packaging and smaller overall size. Also the A/R is smaller as well.
