Exclamation STS possible with Borla ??

Hello,

I’m interested in the STS turbo kit. I’m currently running a Borla exhaust system with dual tips on each side. Does anybody know if there is a way I can maintain the borla with the quad tips ?
From the installation pictures on the STS web site it seems like the complete muffler&tip combo will have to be removed in order to make room for the turbo kit.
Like I said, I would VERY much like to keep the dual tips on each side and hope that someone can tell me more about this.

Thanks,
Alex

You have to take off the muffler and tips because after your I pipe, it goes into the turbo..your turbo becomes your muffler..now you can put one of the tips on the pipe coming off the turbo for your "exhaust" and fab up another pipe or hanger to hang the other tip to seem like it still has dual tips...Ive even heard of people fabbing up a bracket to hold a muffler so you cant really see the turbo. Just some ideas. I would sell the borla and get a stock Ipipe, youll get more money that way. Thats what I did with my hooker catback. But im not going to run any tips out the back

anything is possible with a welder and some curse words

You'll lose your mufflers and tips but the piping should weld alright. See if you can find someone interested in buying your stuff before you go to hacking it up and trade them for their factory exhaust +some $$. Everybodies happy!
