Default AiResearch T04 a/r.60

See,I got this turbo but don't know nothin about it. Any info would be great and if it is useable on a chevy 5.3.

AiResearch is Garrett. I believe these turbos have been replaced by their current GT Series turbochargers. Is that A/R compressor or turbine?

With a turbo of that size, I'm sure you can use it on a 5.3 liter. If you need an example compressor map I'd be more than happy to find one.

could you post the compressor map? i have the same turbo, 0.60a/r and .68 a/r

I kinda stole this from Turbo Calculator. It's a compressor map of a 0.68 (turbine) A/R AiResearch/Garrett T04 60-1 turbocharger. The map for the 0.60 A/R, assuming it's the turbine side, might be scaled down a bit according to pressure ratios and mass flow rate. Unfortunately, I can't find one for that particular turbocharger. If I can find a turbine map of the T04 60-1, I'll post it. Turbine efficiency is just as important as compressor efficiency.
