I just ordered the Vortech unit with the aftercooler and am going to have it installed when it arrives. Should I get different pulleys to get more power? I'm at about 415 rwhp right now with a blower cam and 6 liter heads. What else do I need to do to get the most out of the supercharger?

if you're on a stock bottom end I would not pulley up. You're pushing decent power for an all motor setup are you at stock compression?
The kit should give you about 100 rear wheel horsepower. I would advise doing valvesprings, you'll love the extra power.
let me know how it goes.
make sure you get someone who knows how to tune good, the tune that vortech gives you is just something to get you in the ballpark.

If you got the V-9 SQ G-Trim supercharger, which is standard for the F-body, then it should add ~98 horsepower and 69 ft/lbs of torque at 5-6 PSIG. At 5 psi, with stock compression, you are pushing roughly 15:1 effective compression. [ ((boost psi / 14.7) + 1) x motor compression = effective compression ].
I would not try to push the limits of the stock pistons any further. With the 6.0l heads you also have they are probably milled between .024 - .040 and will increase you effective compression ratio even further possibly by a point or even TWO.
FIRST, I would find out if IN FACT your heads were milled so adding 5 psi doesn't damage your engine. Figure out how much they were milled and then figure your static compression ratio to see if you're safe to run 5 psig of boost. You might have to run a Alcohol injection kit with your new Supercharger.

I don't think you will have any problems. Just keep your tune very consevative until you get those slugs swapped out. If you have already done that then I would atleast jump to the 2.75" pulley for a little more added power etc... Good luck.

I said IF the heads were milled. A cautionary statement to him. I am guessing they might possibly be milled as he is at 415rwhp with just a blower cam and heads...maybe other bolt ons?
