Looks like their arrogance bit them in the ***.

It amazes me how poorly this board treats Hardcore. They may not have been the first car in the 6's, but I am pretty sure they were the first in the 7's, 8's, and 9's. Even when they went to Thunder last year and won the class they entered, they got dogged on by this board. Well, I think it worked, I haven't heard of them going to or planning to go to any ls1tech events. Way to go guys.

Geoff, I believe Kurt was the first to put a LS1 in the 9's. Remember the yellow bowtie Camaro? It was at their open house last year. ARE was the first in the 8's and Hardcore was the first in the 7's. All going from memory on that one. I don't recall first in the 11's, and 10's though.

Wasn't NoOne or Larry from Houston first into the 11's? WAY back in 98 or 99. Not sure on 10's. I remember that one dude with the silver Z or SS that wen't 10's on a stock bottom end before anything thought that would happen, and Chris Marsh going 10's NA stock-bottom.

Kurt wen't 9's in an LS1 first, Mikey went 9's stock suspension first (n2o) and I still don't think Hardcore went 7's at all. Well, they legitimately did last week in the GTO, but I think the TA running 7's is BS. Look at Duke's history.

Oh, and on their website it says first SUPERCHARGED car in the 9's, 8's, and 7's. The 7's I think is BS, but they are correct on the 9's and 8's (even though Kurt and W2W got them into the 8's).

It's all semantics. Everyone on here can come up with any title they want and argue over it if they want. Please keep the Duke bashing and historical stuff to a minimum. I think that's already been fully exhausted here and don't car to review it again. As far as them running 7's. Maybe they did, maybe they didn't. Personally I'm not entertaining that argument. However, fall is quickly approaching and they should be able to reproduce the number if they wish. I'm sure that they'll also claim first supercharged LS1 in the 6's eventually as well.

Ryan: Larry Sample was the first NA in the 11s (Auto), Eric "NoOne" first timeslip in the 11s NA with M6, only one pass ever though. I was the first M6 NA to run 11s consistently, and did it on radials

Jason98TA of Texas Speed first M6 in the 10s on motor.

Something to think about would be a record book for this stuff. It would be cool to know. I know the ET database sort of keeps this stuff, but not the little details or anything.

so much hate
Hardcore had some creditable people say they ran the 7.XX so its theirs (even though id still like to see the unedited video even if there is a cloud of black smoke just to see it.)
nobody else here has gotton a LSx to sevens yet so props to them, no need to bash them, what they are doing is good for the community advancing the power of these motors.

I totally agree with you smokin'. When vendors push the power level we all win.
