ATI 4 WS6:Help Please!!
ATI 4 WS6:Help Please!! Okay, I have done quite a bit of research on the ATI kit for the LS1. I have a stock 01' WS6 and plan to add headers and a D1SC. I am looking for a clean worry free set up as this is my daily driver. From all of my research here on the site I have compiled a list of what I need to initially get started. Please check it out and make suggestions and comments, your help would be greatly appreciated.
SDCE ATI race kit(#7???)
spal or flex a lite fans
fuel injectors (size & brand???)
fuel pump(size & brand???)
160 stat
Tial 50 bov
Dyno Tune
Am I leaving anything out? I would like to run #8 but I noticed on SDCE's website they advertise #5 and #7 can they accomadate me with a diiferent pulley setup when I order? What size and brand fuel injectors and fuel pump do you guys recommend? What about the race package that Tbyrne sells would it be sufficient or do I need to stick with the SDCE pulley setup?Thanks for all the help!

SDCE ATI race kit(#7???) - YES!!! Very good idea.

fuel pump(size & brand???) - Walbro or Racetronix in-tank
160 stat - Good investment
Tial 50 bov - NO!!! Use BYPASS valve, not blow off valve.
Dyno Tune - A must!

If you are only going to be running 8 pounds of boost, which is all I would go for on the stock pistons, the ATI ProCharger 8 rib D-1SC ProCharger kit will be very reliable.
You will need a harmonic balancer made by the other ATI company (not related) ATI Performance Products, which goes for $475.00 from most vendors. This balancer is needed with the eight rib kit.
I would go with SVO 42lb fuel injectors. Most tuners recommend them, and they will support the engine very well in the eight pound boost range. Typical prices for the injectors are in the $450.00 range, although sometimes you will be able to find a vendor having a blowout sale.
I like to use the Holley/Walbro forced induction fuel pump, pn #12-914, which is an in tank fuel pump. It works very well with our installations.
