Aren't we still going to be limited by the 511 g/sec limit of the stock MAF table? I thought that was the big hold up, and unless you want to halve and double just about every table in your PCM there wasn't much you could do.

It will work with your 98. If you here somehting from Harlan it is as good as from me, at this point he knows everything about this unit and what is going on with it. He is also helping with the R&D. Solenoid and boost harness will be an option since not eeveryone willneed one but the sofware is in and it will be an inexpensive option. 511 gram limit will be in place since that is in the computer BUT........ we can program the unit to throw out say 500 G/sec to the ecm at 900 HP worth of air coming in and then adjust fuel so you won't run off the table. Any value coming in can be adjusted to any value out so things can be manipiulated pretty easy. I tihnk you will be amazed at what we will be able to do with this in the end

Yep, it's just a matter of knowing what you're really feeding the MAF input.

tweaking the injector flow to match the MAF input is really not a big deal.

Mike,

Thanks for the reply here and the PM.

This is looking to be so bad *** for us FI guys with no other options but a $2500 aftermarket stand alone.

I am very confident in the person doing mine....

This is going to be awsome, i wonder if harlan would make one of the injector coverters for me as well.

Ill buy one of these as soon as there available. Does a laptop plug into it or how do you program?

is there an ETA on availability?
thanks

it's laptop programable, full scanner software/table editor, as well as tweakable via the onboard keypad/LCD display.

Price on the website is $399 for the controller, about $190 for an LC-1 WB02 and a boost pressure solinoid which I wouldnt imagine would be over $100 but I am guessing there since they said it would be inexpensive??

This thing sounds like its going to be the perfect solution for sportsmen type guys, kinda somewhere between Megasquirt and BS3, good stuff.

is it something that is going to be able to control spark in the future? OR are we still going to need tunning software to control the spark side of things? LIke Edit or HP?

Most of those prices sound right except for the LC-1....... Yes the gauge is $199 but thats for it to workwith the LM-1.... if you wantit to work alone its $399 for the LC-1 kit that comeswith everything.

Kyle

*EDIT unless your talking about just the LC-1 cable for $199 then u are correct.

There is no need for the gauge with the LC-1 since wideband will be displayed on the MAFT Pro unit itself and can also be logged. The big 3 port 'noid will be well under $100. The basic GM unit is about $20. Yes this will work on a LT1 or an Import Or a Ford Or a.............
