Default Pro-M MAF

Anyone use the Pro-M MAF?

I'm Maxing out the MAF on my car and this looks like it could work nicely.

I think they went belly up. I also don't think your OEM PCM with interface with the Pro-M output.

if they would have built meters with output of higher range, and not stupid trickery maf's, they might still be in business.

I would love to find a meter that flows 1000 g/s @ 11,250 hz, as it would solve almost all of the tuning problems.

most pro-m meters on the used market now, are ford based, 0-5 volt, which I would avoid at all costs, they're a headache to tune. If I was going to put a ford style meter on my car with an adapter box, I would use a SCT BA2800 meter, which should support most FI needs, when used in drawthrough configuration.

Next version will have spark control I am told, saving my money. I like the WB O2 hook up for WOT closed loop a/f correction. pretty sweet for $600 (with the WB sensor)

I think Harlan said he is doing Beta on one of these on a Stenod car

They told me it will just be a software upgrade, I am not affiliated with Full Throttle, just doing some homework. Why dont you ask the Stenod guys how the Beta of this is going since you got a car over there. Maybe they can just slap one on for you while its there

I just got the latest software for the Pro a day or so ago, Gotta reflash it and give it a try. I currently building up the VE table in the Pro. Once we're happy with the data the Pro is producing i'll pull the MAF for good and let her rip

The unit I have piggy backs the PCM, and reproduces the MAF signal based on a fully internal speed density setup. You give it an IAT and MAP sensor of its own, feed it RPM from the PCM output and away you go.

This is currently on my truck BTW, as I get about 100 miles a day of drive/test time.

Not sure if it comes with the noid or not, but we've been discussing which one to use.

Feed it a wideband input, give it a noid, tap 3 or 4 wires at the PCM, and you got speed density, boost control based on TPS/PRM thresholds, and closed loop at WOT. Not too shabby if you ask me

Kyle, we'll get you squared away with it and an injector driver from my parts bin

I'd just like it to be confirmed by the company making it that it will work on 98's PERIOD with no 2nd or 3rd party hacking....I'm a lil hesitant after purchasing HPT after they said they would have 2-3 bar for 98+ a long time ago...just to find out later that it didn't look like the 98's would be on the slate for the upgrade.

SO can someone pretty please confirm that if I buy this product and it gets delivered to my house, I can take it out of the box, install it and have a 2-3 bar SD system on my 98....
