boost question and twin turbo!!! I have 2 questions, first, how much boost PSI is safe in an LT1 stock? and secondly, where can i find a twin turbo or really good supercharger for an LT1? sorry guys, kinda new to the forced induction area. thanks!
boost wise, prob 7-9 lbs at most on stock block. as far as turbo kits for lt1's, you will have a wait a while unless you do a custom kit. You can always go procharger or vortech for a supercharger. Speak with one of the sponsors.
We ran 6PSI fine on a stock LT1 with our turbo kit that we fabricated.
Oh and as for twins for the LT1, your probably screwed unless you want to pay someone to fabricate it for you.
We fabricated our single kit and we are doing a few more single turbo LT1s locally, send whynot a PM if you want more details.
