My SS is finally finished.

do you have any issues with the filters picking up water if you drive it in any kind of rain ?(which you better not, it would be a shame to ruin that pristine undercarraige) just wondering
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Wet 1- The intercooler ducting was first made out of cardboard and transferred to black ABS plastic.
abadss- Actually last year with the same turbo system I got stuck in the pouring rain for a few hours (on slicks/skinnys too
), and there was no problems. If it was chugging down some water it wasn't enough to effect/hurt anything. Got Me SOM- Havn't raced anything yet, but the car makes about the same power as last year so I would expect it to be as fast. I'll probably keep boost under 25.
RyanJ- The fuel hose is Earls Pro Lite 350. The hose ends are Russell endura.
I remember when you started this you said you were switching to BB turbos and wouldn't be surprised if you picked up 100 hp. Done any testing yet?

I thought it might pick up some power from a fresh engine and head work, and it may have but it's now running through a more restrictive exhaust.
It dynoed 855rwhp 869rwtq through the 3.5 SLP two on the left. The BB turbos did seem to help spool however, as it reached peak boost (and made peak torque) about 400rpms earlier.

Now you are ready to put her in for Vettefest or World of Wheels.
