Which picture best represents the true color of your car? I hope it's the pic in your signature. Nice pipes, by the way.

Weren't all those motors supposedly built by the guy who is now owner of Victory Racing. People probably wanna stay away from them too.

Kyle,
Sucks to hear about the motor, I had the same kind of thing happen with a local machine shop, so I ended up having HPE put the motor together.

Engine bay looks amazing painted and cleared like that. Wish I had done something similiar before I put my motor back in.

The hot parts look AMAZING I hope my new kit turns out half as nice that would make me happy

At least you now know that everything will be 100%, with nothing to worry about, might as well change the tranny setup, cause everything else is different now.

Hey Kyle,

How did you go about priming the motor when you first started it? I remember Harlan saying that he thought the initial startup had to do alot with his spun bearings....

I am just trying to avoid this crap at all costs since Nick built my motor too. THough, I got mine as a shortblock and was able to check some things over and do the rest of the assembly

Ed,

Might as well huh.... As you prob know ive been looking at a Power Glide......... But We decided to do a Cage NOW instead of waiting for later after we know we need it..... The Race Tranny setup will prob be next YR... havent talked to my #1 sponsor... (My Big Brother Toonz) With out him this would of never been completed.

THANKS BRO

I should of really went with one to begin with and saved the $2500 spent on the M6 and just spent another $1500 and went with a Race tranny to begin with.........
But hey for now until im all the way done this will still kinda be a street car and drive me the 2 miles to work...

Yeah, hindsite is always 20/20, if I could go back and change a few things I would, alot of people get onto me about swapping out kits alot, its allowded me to get where I am, as Ive made cash on almost everyone so far.

Your car is going to be crazy once its done, I went with the same turbo you have, and a fabricator that is essentially copying the kit you have with a few differences, hes making the headers a bit different, but the same idea.

Kyle,
Everything looks bling as you said. I love to see master craftsmen at work. This is why I love cars so much. When the finished product is almost ready to go in and it looks that damm good! Not to mention the car will definitely be a blast to drive. Anyways, sorry to hear about the motor. Stenod will not let you down.

BTW, buy that forged crank. Now is as good of a time as any.

I happen to have a 4" Sonny Bryant crank in perfect condition, it just came back from being inspected at the race shop. As I'm sure you know, this is about the best crank money can buy ($4500 new). I haven't listed it yet as F/S because I have a couple guys interested in it, but I haven't seen any money yet so send me a PM if you are serious about a forged crank.

BTW, the car looks great!!!

If they are reccomending it, then it id be willing to bet they are right on the money. Ive just always herd you want to be 3000lbs or less to run a PG.

Are you going to drive this on the street too? I wonder how a PG would ride around. I want to street mine more thats why I went with the 80e
