Clutch hasn't been ordered yet, so we'll cancel that off the bill and just start looking for the glide and i'll get in contact with some converter companies and find out what is giong to work the best, most likely a Chance would be one hell of a choice

LMAO!!

I guess I get to step in a be the voice of reason. I have nothing against the glide, but I do recall the reason we chose the 6-speed in the beginning.... The LOVE of driving the car... just cruising as well as racing. We both know the glide will go in sooner or later, but this car has been down for almost a year, you'll want more seat time than just the weekend trips to to the track bro. Just a thought....

Oh yeah... Kyle is afraid of missing 3rd!

I agree totally with what your saying, heres the converse voice of reason, might as well sell the 6spd now while it is worth something than later when it is broken and worth pennies on the dollar

we can twist this any way

Kyle, just put the glide in it and save yourself the extended downtime. I'm keeping my clutch pedal and master in the car, just in case I feel the urge to slap a T56 into my drag car and take it on a road trip like Power Tour when it is done.

Nice progress photos!

Yeah, I talked with Kyle today and it makes sense to do it now. I just wanted to make sure that's truly what he wanted to do with it. I agree it makes sense to do it now.

I was just trying to point out another point of view, its certainly not my place to tell you guys what to do.

Is he sure about a PG? I would think a TH400 for a lil of streetability would be better, but hey thats just this guys opnion.

6spd, powerglide, th400, whatever he picks the car is going to be badass, theres no stopping that.

We talked about both actually, but the PG is what we want in the end so why not now. I just had to make sure that's what he really wanted to do. Besides, you can cruise the streets on a PG, I've seen it done.
