Thumbs up

Cartek IMO, they've been doing quite well lately with Paul's consistent 8 second twin turbo Z06 among the numerous other 9 and 10 second cars/motors they've built.

Out of those two I think Cartek would be my choice based on years of proven performance at the track.

Cartek sux, in my opinion. I mean, all they can squeeze out of a 346 is 8s at 20 lbs of boost. Look how many other cars are running same or better times with 346 cid / LS6 heads motors. And what really ticks me off is that the damn motor is staying together. I usually like to go for a new block every 20 runs or so. Nah, I'd stay away from those guys.

Seriously, you wanna go fast and reliable? Cartek. Going straight and hooking up couldn't hurt either. I've been quite happy with Neverlift's chassis work.

Not at all. I'm sure they are. Obviously, my opinion is biased because I am a Cartek customer. But they must be doing something right; consisent 8s out of a 346.

We aren't saying that A&A doesn't do great work. If you look at who goes fast at the track it is Cartek, Vette Doctors, ECS, etc.

All I know is that a guy around here has the cartek heads/cam on his Z06 and he runs the same times as cam only Z06's.

I've been a Cartek customer for 6 years . Cartek has built me three different motors , one was stroker/nitrous , one was all-motor NA , and my current , 388cid turbo motor , all have run in the nines in the 1/4 , along with excellent reliability and drivability .

CarolinaWS6, Dave usually returns his calls at the end of the day, 5:00pm to about 7:00 pm. He might have called you back between those hours and missed you. just to be certain, email me your number at jhormilla@cartek.net and I will give it to Dave personally.
