We're pretty much stuck, all the freeways are jammed. They're opening up the inbound side of the freeways to outbound traffic now, and nobody is being let back into the city. They're doing well getting people out of Houston, considering there's over 4 million people here!
But, yours truly is hunkering down and riding it out. Tiff's turbo car gets the garage, my three hoopties are outside to weather the storm.

My bro-in-law actually flew into Houston this morning to take care of his parents house while they are in London. Crazy! I don't know what he was thinking. We was going to take off to Austin tonight but he's stuck there now!
Well you guys keep safe.... looks like its going to miss Corpus.... we evacted quick yesterday and it looks like we might get to go back....... keeper loaded Tony and dont take no **** off no one.......

Id be goin to the local u-stor-it and renting a 1st level garage so taht i coudl put the car adn valuables in. Those things are built like bomb shelters. Nearly bullet proof garage doors adn all. Hope all of you crazies make it ok if ya stick it out. I have been pondering that last couple nights what i would do if this were happening to me. If i would try to leave or stick it out.
When ya think of a storm and rain and floods it is VERY tough to understand how ya can get killed. It jsut naturally seems like ya woudl be lookin out the windows going "MAN this is a hell of a storm". I wish yall well. GL
