Looks like I should get the TB from Tom @ Speed inc. so I will just get back to the guy who offered me the elbow. Who sells that Victor Jr., how much is it? I bet the Victor Jr. stuff won't clear my hood, but we'll see.
Tom (Speed Inc.), you up for the dyno test? Maybe you, Dan and I can rig up two intake setups for this test. Maybe just need one or two extra custom pieces to swap back and forth.

I have a Acufab 105mm TB on order. Once I get it in I am having an elbow fabbed up for that. Would you like to try it as well? This will be ready in about 2 weeks (I hope)..
I bought my intake from a non sponsor for $320 with the injector bungs already drilled.

Why not test all 3 (you have an LS6 now, right?)? Heck...if you guys are up to it, it would be awesome to test the LS6/PTB, FAST90/90, Victor Jr./Elbow/90, and Becks/90...tuning in between of course. But that would easily take all day.
I think a back-to-back dyno test would be cool to see and would be very interesting to see how a ~$350 carb style intake compares to a ~$2200 sheetmetal intake. The "Ohio Boys", Harlan, and Stenod are all hella fast on a $350 GMPP intake, I would hope there is a SIGNIFIGANT gain for the difference in $$$.

Yeah, but you gotta look at the other factors. Modifying the cowl (which I know is not that extreme or significant with a few tricks) if you are using an out-of-the box elbow makes it worth it to some. Remember that harlan and the white stenod car put their engine where they wanted it with custom mounts/motor plates (I think the ohio boys did too?). If you don't have means to get a custom elbo and don't want to worry about hood/cowl clearance (and want an intake specifically for your application) 2200 may not seem like a bad idea.

I have one of those custom elbows that should clear the hood. its mated to a 80mm TB.
you could use that if you wanted to, but I dont know how itd work with the larger TB.
I could send you both if you wanted, just let me know if you need either
