How much boost?

How much boost? How much boost can i run on the street with the D1SC? I still want it it still be very streetable. Will it need to be reprogramed with more boost? Also there is a bad sound at idle that sounds like a bearing going out, what is that?

thats the sound of the sc unit itself....they all supposedly do that, its the bearing, for the hp increase with mine ill take the silly noise...im thinkin about goin up to 10# right now i just got 7 ive heard of people with streetable cars doin the high teens w/ boost tho...it all depends on how much other stuff you want to work on later really...im just keeping my car at a good efficiency(power and gas mileage)...with my p1sc i get 25 miles a gallon and pushin almost 500 hp
Ya those stockers aint good when ya start pushing the envelope. I see that you have nitrous for it also. I think that you should jsut get that running adn use a little shot. It will ahve 2 purposes. More hp adn the BIG cooling effect you need. Just do a 25 whot or something. It will make a big difference. GL
