turbo and ported maf...Harlan?
it's ultimately the manifold, and somewhat the heads.
I saw a noticable change in airflow when i put on the new manifold, but it's time for me to go sheetmetal.
I personally wouldn't mess w/ the MAF. All you need is more timing w/ boost <img src="gr_eek2.gif" border="0">
What is happening is you're limited to the air you can force through up top, but you can show plenty in down low. So the low end torque comes up.
If you opened things up, the peak would move to where you'd expect it. as a result, HP peak moves and rises.
i hope to show this in the coming spring. Back to Back dynos w/ a manifold swap in between <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0">
