Must have went lean?? Many things come into play, weight ,load.... the list can go on and on. Bottom line I could see driving around town on 93 but at the track I have no idea in the world why you wouldn't run the best gas money could buy. Much cheaper in the long run, not to mention the labor. I agree MM, loading the car on the dyno and running down the 1320 is a whole different ball game. Good luck on the rebuild!

Odd....you sure have a lot of damage to not have your straps burned on the plugs. Kinda weird your plugs dont show anything unusual.

I just looke at the pics and the heads look stock. I see all the casting markes around the valve guides in the bowl area. I would have figured you would have a trick set of head son that thing,

That sucks dude. I can see it now, tons of "FS: METH KIT" and "WTB: DRUM OF RACE GAS" posts in the classifieds

Atleast it happened near the end of the season, if you can pull anything good out of this.

I guess the plugs don't look real bad, but it looks like the straps are melted back some. What kind of plugs are they? Have you compared the strap on a new one to the ones you pulled out? Seems the straps don't quite extend over the electrodes? Maybe it is just me?

Bit of sandpaper will fix that right up!

Was this on the dyno MM or the track?

Doesn't your computer use a WB? If so, how did it get lean without correcting?

We had Harry at Precision Turbo put the Big Stuff system on our cars and he said that we can't go lean. Don't know if thst's true or not, but that's what he said anyway.

He also said dont trust pumpgas with a expensive motor. He said race gas is cheap insurance. If we had your money, we could throw our money away.

What are you going to do now? Build it up more ro fix it?
