<strong>One thing everyone should understand, centrifical and screw type superchargers are very different. The ATI blower will make 7psi at 5500-6000rpm and the Magnuson will make max boost pretty much right off idle. The ATI will be at low boost until the upper rpms. That's why Lingenfelters test car ran 126mph in the 1/4 on a stock motor. Don't just go by peak numbers, I think that's why people get mislead. Look at the area under the curve. I ran 10.98 @ 126 MPH to their 11.7 @ 126 MPH.
they may not have had as much stick as you.
mph shows the power your making
also your choice depends on what you want and how your car is setup.
I would hate to meet a screw type on the highway. Unless I am taching at 5k the screwtype will pull away instantly. but if we launch from a stop he will probably spin til the end of time.... I could go on and on with different scenarios.
It's less of a what is the best supercharger for a C5 but instead what is the best supercharger for me based on wanting to accomplish XYZ. You clearly define XYZ and your choice of poweradder becomes much more obvious.
