Default Forced induction for road racing

If I'm planning on road racing, is forced induction a good route to go. I would think that without a lot of extra cooling/work it's going to be hard to get a turbo to live in that enviroment....but I'm thinking a supercharger would do a little better.

hmmm..now that I think about it though, the wrx and evo are turbo charged and they're kind of a road race idea.....help me out here.

a supercharger will definitely get you off the corners better.
benefits of sc vs turbo is the torque you need and want down low on slow speed corners.

With the proper turbo setup it will be just as good and more efficient. We work with alot of road racers as well in matching a proper turbo setup for them. No need to worry about belts

Compare dyno sheet torque curves for turbos and superchargers. Then decide if you want throttle control or peak power.
