Default need some help here

I have been doing research and planned out buying a h&c setup, but I see beefcopter has a 6lb powerdyne for sale cheaper than the h&c would be. Granted the pd is not new like the h&c, but it's a good bit less than the setup I've got priced out now. I looked through the past posts, and it looks like the pd kit definitely has it's share of headaches. I've read there is a lot of tuning that needs to be done, which shouldn't be a problem since I'm going to get ls1edit regardless of what I get. I've also read that there are some issues with the ps cooler I've got. I'm not crazy about tapping the oil pan, cuz I don't know how to do that, but I've got a few people locally that could show me that.

Right now with the tnt kit, I've put down 415/490 on the dyno, but I've only been to the track with it once so I've only got a 12.8@112 to show for the lack experience on that. I know some people would say to just keep the nitrous and get the h&c, which would be good and all. It would make a lot of power(if I could keep it together), but I'm not exceptionaly fond of nitrous now. It's hard to manage it when it kicks in at once(progressive controller would fix that, but that's a big chunk of change). I'm not real happy with having to keep filling the bottle, I made 3 passes with the 100 jets in on a full 10lb bottle and even with the heater running on it all night, it started losing pressure and the 4th run was pretty crappy at like 800-900 psi. And having to wait for the heater to get the pressure up is real annoying( only happens for half the year though ). Then there's the opening the bottle when I want to use it, another nice trait.
What are your opinions?? I'm stuck.

Default Re: need some help here

I've heard theres over heating problems with the PD blowers. They might have fixed that though. I probably would go heads and cam. Cause its easyer to do it now and buy a blower ltr But I dont think 600rwhp is enough . Plus they would mostlikely go down in price.
