Default ATI Makes A Great Kit, Easy To Install, Everything Fits Perfect! Pics>>

All I have to say is it took some time (34 hrs alone) using jacks but it was worth doing it myself. The kit is awesome, everything went together perfect, no questions needed to be asked. Even the crank bolt came off easy and went on perfect with one supplied washer. Gotta love it. Plugs need to go in and time to start her up!

If you noticed, I used my SLP Bellows also.

My next goal is the have the top rubber hoses replaced with chrome piping. I think I may of found a place that mandrel bends pipes to replace them. We will see.

If I were doing a s/c, this is definitely the kit I would buy. I've seen the ATI in person and like it a lot more than the aftercooled Vortech. You can actually check/change plugs without disassembling half the system. It looks a lot more "thought out" than the Vortech. I'd have to hack into my hood with the Vortech.

Did you buy it direct? How much did it set you back? Can you later add an intercooler and increase the PSI?

Looks SWEET!

Bought it from T Byrne Motorsports.

The kit has twin ait to air intercoolers included.

You can upgrade to the 8 lb kit and buy new injectors and pulley. The pulley runs about $250.00 not sure what the injectors cost. May need to upgrade the fuel pump too.

Hope this helps,

Todd

SWEET!

I have been debating back and forth wether to go Heads / Cam or Supercharger as my next (BIG) mod - this is another strong case in favor of doing the supercharger!

....I gotta save my pennies......

Really nice looking install

Is this the first major install that you have done to car/or LS1? I am asking because I thought about getting the ATI kit but didn't really want to come up with the extra money for the install. Thanks for any help or tips you can give me.

Does the ATI system draw air from the stock location? Or does it draw air from underneith the car? Will my WS6 Ram Air Hood be useless? Do you happen to have any dyno numbers or track times?
Thanks alot!

DAMMMM! I thought so. Thats the only thing I don't like about the ATI systeme. Is the filter in a tight place? Is it going to be a hassle to romove and clean?
Thanks again.

I am sure every brand has difficulties to do different things on the car. Maybe with other kits the plugs are hard to change etc, etc.

All of the areas under the hood is very easy to access with the ATI kit to get to the engine.

I am not nocking other kits, BTW, nor will I stick up for ATI just because I own the kit. Just stating a couple facts from my experience with it.

Man that looks sweet

Any idea on what kind of power it will put down ? Is it stock save for the headers and huffer ?

On another note, I don't think a ram air good would help much with a blower would it ?
