twin turbo boost levels

i dont know why i didnt think of this till now, but ive got a twin turbo setup im going to be firing up in the next couple of weeks...and just had a thought, if im running 7lb springs in each wastegate...will this result in 14lbs overall?

im not sure, cause i have 2 waste gates and will be running a minimum of 11.6 lbs of boost(not sure on the spring pressure rating)

You'll get 7psi if they are adjusted equally to open at 7lbs. I used a mighty vac on mine to get them equal.

I think ya will get boost creep from 7 psi. With only a 355ci engine and two t70's it will be tough to keep the boost that low. Cant wiat to see what that turns out. GL

I use nine pound springs with my TT setup and make 9-9.5ish without using my boost controller.

i wasnt planning on running 7psi, just using that as an example....ill probably start out with the 10lb springs

You will get 7psi if the gates can bleed that much down.

Your wastegate is operated off your manifold pressure usually, so when your manifold pressure reaches 7psi it will start opening both gates at the same time.

I am running twin turbonetics wastegates and 9 lb springs. My eboost shows exactly 9 psi at WOT. Just make sure you have the wastegate adjusted properly.
