She's the pick of the litter, I like her a lot

LOL always cracks me up to see people worship the ancient displacement numbers, like it makes a difference <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I'm sure there are guys out there not satisfied w/422's because it's not a 427. Remember the 396, which never was one?

Maybe I'll overbore my stock engine to achieve the magical 348 number. Yes, the successor to the legendary tripower 348. Ahh now there was an engine....truck engine, that is <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

It's number worship <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> pure and simple. 422 would have been an unambiguous number for a stroked small block, but I've been enamoured with 427 since I was a kid.
