fabbing an intercooler setup...
I'll tell you what though if you can do it I think the results would be well worth the effort.
Rode keyboard in an ATI stage II car yesterday. IAT before boost 82, IAT during and after a blast showing 6psi on the guage.... 82! Very impressive. Same run on my car IAT's would be 140+ at full boost.
What are your initial thoughts on routing everything? Only thing I can thing off of the bat is off the dischage basically S down low enough for clearance for an intercooler sitting parallel with the ground then out of the intercooler curve back up to the top of the engine compartment and curve around into the TB.
Also a deflector of some sort to route air up into the intercooler would be needed I would think.
You can see how the iat started to climb as I have about a 1 second delay before it flows at full pressure and then temps began to drop.
That was 11psi at 6000rpm in 2nd gear where I had to let off.
Cruising iat was 99 degrees as the blower was real hot and I had been cruising for about 45minutes.

I should be able to run full timing with my measely 5psi <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Two more questions for you, what was the ambient air temp? and what IAT were you seeing before the alky injection and at what PSI. THe numbers look real good. I used to see 140+ IAT's with only 4 psi and 85 degree ambient. Kind of wish I would have kept the kit longer, I think I would be looking into an alky system.
I don't think my motor liked 10-12psi though.I'm already seeing more blowby and a higher leakdown on a few cyls after about 10 runs.
Even with water/alky 10-12psi is a serious gamble on stock pistons.
