Oil Blow By
I had in my mind that the front nub that ATI routes to the inlet hat before the blower was thier attempt to create a 'vacumn' even while under boost.
What you are saying is that with or without this 'vacumn' effect. The pressure in the crankcase will seek the path of least resistance and exit by that front nub. If I route that hose to a breather filter with a catch I will not be putting extra strain on the engine.
Matt - This isn't a big problem. I've got over 600 miles on the track with this issue. I have yet to notice any performance issue. In fact I've got hours of ATAP logs and I rarely see knock at all. When I do it's in the 1 degree range. I'm just sick of having to clean out all the hoses and intercoolers after each event.
